Hello, and welcome to... Splash of Ink!

I’m glad you dropped by, I’ve had fun putting these pages together, and I’d like to share them with you. You will find some poetry and prose, and also some of my own photographs in the album at the back.

I started writing several years ago, it became a turning point in my life, and brought me new challenges. Along the way I’ve loved, laughed, and cried. I’ve been lucky enough to travel extensively, and meet some charming new friends. Some of my work has been published, much to my surprise, both in anthologies and magazines. Then, in the spring of 2006, I held my second exhibition of poetry. This proved to be rather successful, and I’m in the planning stages of a third.

Whereas my writing is my life, photography is my hobby. Using a camera as means of relaxation brings me much enjoyment and satisfaction. So I hope you will enjoy the results.

Splash of Ink is my first attempt at building a website. It’s involved quite a lot of hair pulling, and tons of exasperation, but determination won through in the end! If you should see any mistakes, though, don’t hesitate to let me know, thanks.

Many people have helped me achieve my goals, they know who they are, and I thank them all. Though one person in particular deserves special recognition for his help and support, my life partner and best friend, John Kenward… Cheers darling, you’re a star!
